A car is essential and the cottage is accessed via quiet single lanes, with passing places. Please take care around bends as horses and cyclists use these roads. Car hire is available from Cornwall Airport, Newquay, and Bodmin.

Demelza is easily accessed from the A30. Landmarks to look out for are in (brackets).

From the A30 (Southbound), exit at Victoria Services, and at the roundabout take the first exit signposted Roche.  Follow this road (Travelodge, Magnet), to another roundabout and take the exit signposted Newquay/Padstow. Take the first turning right towards Tregonetha (currently no sign). Go over the A30 bridge and take the first right, signposted Demelza. Follow this road for approximately 2 miles until you reach the hamlet of Demelza (village sign).  Demelza Cottage is the second cottage on the left-hand side with a tall slate roof.  Continue further along the road to access parking to the rear of the property.

From A39, At Winnards Perch roundabout take the exit signposted St Wenn/Tregonetha. Follow this road past Retallack Resort for about 2 miles. When the road forks, go straight ahead towards St Wenn. Follow this road for about 2 miles.  After the signs for St Wenn and Kernick, continue until you reach a right hand turning, signposted Demelza. Follow this road for about a mile until you reach the hamlet (village sign). We are the 2nd house on the right (after Demelza Farm). 

For B&B guests we recommend dropping off your luggage at the front door and then park as you will need to return back up the road to access the property.
